Dirt Merchant is seeking a truck driver to join our fast paced and hardworking utility and grading teams for the upcoming construction season.
Skills amp; Qualifications:
· Competency in inspection and light maintenance of truck and trailers
· Keep track of hours worked and load count of each job.
· Attention to detail on and off the road.
· Ability to work as a team and independently.
· Valid DOT Card or pass a DOT Physical along with commercial driver’s license.
· Experience driving straight trucks and tractor trailer side dumps.
· Attention to safety of self and others always.
· Excellent attendance, arriving to work prepared for the day.
· Willingness to listen, learn, and communicate with others.
· Treat equipment, tools, and peers with respect always.
· Must have the ability to pass a physical exam and drug test.
A day in the life as a truck driver:
In this position you are part of a team that supports hauling material to and from jobsites. You work closely with our dispatcher and foremen. We typically work within a 60-mile radius of Mankato.
