If you excel in conducting thorough title searches, resolving title issues, and ensuring clear property ownership, we are eager to connect with you. Joining us as a Title Officer at FirstSource Title means taking on the responsibility of verifying property titles, identifying and addressing any potential legal concerns, and guaranteeing smooth, precise, and compliant property transactions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in efficiently and accurately resolving all title-related matters, thereby contributing to seamless real estate closings. Compensation: Competitive annual salary within the range of $55,000 - $65,000. 5% 401(k) match to bolster your financial future. Full coverage of employee medical benefits (family coverage available at the employee's expense). Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed title searches to verify property ownership by examining records, deeds, liens, and legal documents.
• Review title abstracts and public records to identify any restrictions or defects impacting property transactions.
• Prepare and issue title commitments, preliminary reports, and final title policies in compliance with legal standards.
• Resolve title issues (e.g., missing documents, unsettled taxes, judgments) by coordinating with relevant parties.
• Collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and escrow officers to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Ensure accurate, timely processing of title documents with high standards of precision and compliance.
• Provide regular status updates to clients and internal teams to ensure clear communication and efficient issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple files and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in title examination, abstracting, or a related area within the title insurance, real estate, or mortgage industries.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with title software platforms is a plus, though not required.
