In this role, you'll be crucial to our mission, delivering full-cycle recruiting solutions for professional hires. You’ll also champion our Veteran Hiring initiatives and bring knowledge of the Hiring our Hero’s and SkillBridge program to the forefront of this team.
As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Professional, you’ll join an established recruiting team in our Advanced Facility group and partner with some of the world's leading EPCM Managers. Partnering with this group means that you’ll ensure a positive candidate experience while working to fill current openings. We rely on you to support recruiting efforts focused on various roles, such as Construction Project Managers, Site-based Superintendents, MEP Managers/Superintendents, Jr. Construction Managers, Project Controls Managers, site-based Project Engineers & HSE Managers. We’ll ask you to utilize your superb sourcing skills, professional cold-calling capabilities, and adaptability to the needs of a larger recruitment team when needed. This role can be based in a Jacobs office, hybrid, or 100% remote. There is minimal company travel, typically attending key meetings designated by the Talent Acquisition Manager.
Collaboration with members of the business unit and management team is a cornerstone of this role, as you align on hiring strategies to identify and attract top talent. Regular communication with hiring managers, understanding their needs, and forming partnerships that lead to successful hiring. Your responsibilities will span from researching positions, opening and managing requisitions, sourcing, cold calling, phone screening, working with recruitment coordinators to schedule interviews, and negotiating and closing offers. Your strong organizational skills will be used as you manage and track all candidate activity. Responsiveness and the ability to source active and passive candidates quickly and keep the information current are crucial! Over time, you’ll develop project folders filled with pipelined talent
You’ll prepare and deliver recruiting reports to share with small groups, both to TA and Hiring Manager clients. 10+ years of full-desk recruiting in Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), or Construction / General Contracting firms.
Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system (ATS) - Avature preferred
Experience with developing talent pipelines that lead to rapid hiring progress as new reqs open.
Knowledge of OFCCP procedures and regulations in the US.
High level of personal accountability, integrity, and authenticity; ideally you will be detail-oriented, passionate, and intellectually curious.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field of business administration.
Preferred - Previous Sr. level of in-house recruiting experience in the EPCM industry with Fortune 500 size companies
Previous experience with reporting tools: Excel, PowerPoint
Strong planning and organizational skills to successfully manage a high requisition workload of 50 reqs & 10-15 hires per month.
