We invite you to explore our Applicant Handbook for insights into our company values, recruitment process, and the exciting work we do: Applicant Handbook. We embrace challenges and take calculated risks together.

As a fully remote and distributed company, we welcome applicants from various time zones, focusing on your skills and expertise rather than your location.

What You'll Be Working On
As our Principal Software Designer, you will turn complexity into simplicity, crafting designs that are not just functional but also delightful. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our platform's future.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the design process from concept to execution, encompassing user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and interaction design.
Developing and maintaining a cohesive design language and style guide that embodies our brand and product vision.
Utilizing data, user feedback, and research to enhance the user journey continuously.
Driving the overarching design vision for the product, ensuring alignment with our company's long-term strategy and values.
Inspiring the team with innovative ideas and a commitment to crafting a product that users will love and remember.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate who thrives in a remote-only environment and ideally works within European or East Coast American time zones.

Key Qualifications:
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead design projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience: Extensive senior-level experience in UI/UX design for SaaS products, showcased by a world-class portfolio that highlights your talent for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences.
Skills: Proficiency in design tools, particularly Whimsical for mockups and Figma for designs.
Creativity: A knack for thinking outside the box and pushing design boundaries to create uniquely differentiated solutions.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills to convey design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for design, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of what makes a product outstanding.
Bonus Points: If you have experience as a short-term rental/Airbnb host or have worked in the short-term rental industry, we'd love to hear about it!
Benefits
We believe in continually improving our company as a product and strive to create an enjoyable work environment for everyone.

A supportive and caring team culture where trust is paramount.
A competitive salary range between $149,400 and $166,000, depending on your location and cost of living. For U.S. employees, the gross salary could range from $126,990 to $141,100.
Additional compensation through RSUs (via our $HOST token), representing approximately $16,600/year.
35 days off per year, including self-serve public holidays and parental leave.
Access to mental health and emotional support through therapists available on Slack via Spill.
Proudly recognized on Inc.'s list of Best Workplaces for 2023.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 16,600.00 Per Year
