Job Description

We are excited to partner with a reputable company in Henrietta, NY, to find a skilled and detail-oriented Polisher. If you have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your work, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-quality production team in a fast-paced environment.

POLISHER
The polisher is responsible for polishing stone counter top edges and bottoms, running production lots with coworkers regarding production runs, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for properly polishing stone counter top edges and bottoms to meet customer specifications.
· Ability to use and understand basic hand-held measuring and power tools.
· Responsible for the detection and reporting of defective materials or questionable conditions to management.
· Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, following appropriate safety procedures.
· Performs inspections of machined products and documents findings as appropriate.
· Completes and maintains paperwork for counter tops and materials.
· Trains on other shop equipment as needed.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned or required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· A high school diploma or GED is required
· Saw/Crane knowledge is a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
· Ability to read and understand CAD drawings
· Ability to use basic hand measuring tools
· Written and oral communication skills
· Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds regularly
· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
· Self-motivated
· Prioritization skills
· Problem solving skills
· Ability to work alone and in a team environment
· Ability to create WIN-WIN solutions, when possible

Pay: $17-$20 per hour
Shift: 6:45am-3:15pm
