Position: Oracle Fusion/SOA Support Analyst

Location: Houston TX

Duration: Contract to hire

Position: Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days remote)

Visa: Only USC/GC/GC-EAD

Note: The resource will have to be well versed in Oracle Fusion\ Oracle Database, have good communication skills, and have the right mindset for production support

Job Description:

• Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving end user issues, software application issues and has experience in middleware product like Oracle Fusion and Oracle Database
• Escalate application issues, thoroughly document relevant information to facilitate resolution.
• Monitor all performance metrics for various production systems and identify root cause for all technical issues and recommend solutions.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Build rapport with our customers and drive high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain schedule jobs and perform troubleshoot on processes and resolve all issues.
• Participate in shift handover meetings and maintain all applications for productions and plan appropriate various strategies.
• Collaborate with team members and proactively participate in team discussions.
• Incident, Change, and Problem Management experience.
• Experience with ITSM Tools (Service Now or other ticketing tools.)
• Command Center experience, or experience of managing major incident events, is desirable.
• Must be willing to provide on call support on a rotation basis for 24x7 support. When on call, requires off hour and weekend support.
• Mentor and train new team members and assist with expert knowledge on production processes.
• Strong written, oral, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline preferred.

Required - 5+ years of demonstrated experience of Oracle Fusion SOA, OSB and Java language, Operating systems such as Linux and Windows and ability to gain knowledge and monitor multiple business applications .

Preferred Knowledge on Java Application servers like Oracle WebLogic, Apache or IBM WebSphere and Internet technologies like HTML, XML, WSDL, Scripting languages, knowledge of SDLC activities on development projects. Knowledge of PL/SQL programming using Oracle Database, TOAD/SQL Developer, Understanding of Cloud Technology and Solutions. Utility Industry knowledge. Hands on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware including SOA, OSB and Java Language development.

Certification Training or Certification on Java Application servers, Cloud Solutions and Oracle PL/SQL Language is an added plus.
