Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which assigned.
• Teaches relevant and rigorous lessons in both Language Arts and Social Studies subjects (during different class periods) to maximize students' engagement and achievement.
• Due to class ratios, able to utilize a variety of teaching practices and methodologies that reflect diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds to meet the individual needs of students.
• Assumes responsibility for overseeing student behavior in class and during breaks.
• Reports on the student's progress and day’s activities after each teaching day.
• Follows all policies, rules, and procedures to which teachers are subject, and good teaching practices dictate.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Must live in Tampa, Florida
• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate required.
• ESE experience preferred.
• Must be a qualified professional committed to the success of students!
