• Two to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Metal Journeyman Insulator, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Working in diverse industrial settings, including Refineries, Oil and Gas Facilities, Power Plants, Food and Beverage, Water Treatment, etc.
• Installing, replacing, and repairing industrial metal cladding materials.
• Precisely measuring and cutting metal cladding material to specified size and shape for covering flat or round surfaces.
• Demonstrating proficiency in metal patterns, layouts, and gorings.
• Utilizing the slip roller, beader, and crimper with precision.
• Transporting equipment and materials to the worksite.
• Effectively communicating with coworkers and customers through verbal and written channels.
• Be willing to travel 75% of the time. 

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Two to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings, P&ID’s, pipe schedules, ISO’s, material lists, etc.
• Capacity to work 50-60 hours per week.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.
• Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings.
• Knowledge and experience with industrial insulation materials, including Calcium Silicate, Mineral Wool, Fiberglass, Foam glass, and Aerogel.
• Proficiency in sheet metal work.

Safety Qualifications/Certifications:

• OSHA 10 hours or greater.
• MSHA (encouraged).
• PEC Safeland (encouraged).
• Forklift Equipment Certification.
• Aerial Lift Equipment Certification.
