Key Responsibilities:
Denial Management: Investigate and resolve claim denials through appeals, resubmissions, or necessary corrections, ensuring optimal outcomes.
Follow-Up: Perform regular follow-ups with insurance companies and patients to facilitate timely payments of outstanding balances.
Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all billing practices adhere to current standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
Medical Billing/Collections Expertise: Proven experience in resolving denied or underpaid claims, conducting thorough follow-ups with insurance providers, and maximizing reimbursements.
Diverse Experience: Extensive knowledge in various aspects of medical billing and collections, including claim submissions, attorney follow-ups, and other relevant duties.
Specialized Expertise: Experience in Conservative Therapy (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Chiropractic), Medical (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Orthopedics, Vascular), or Patient Accounts (Self Pay) is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
Out of Network Experience: Demonstrated success in handling Out of Network billing processes.
Payer Portals: Familiarity with various Payer Portals for streamlined communication and efficient claims processing.
Insurance Knowledge: Extensive experience with major medical insurance providers, workers' compensation, and motor vehicle claims is preferred.
Bilingual Skills: Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
