Job Title: Medical Assistant (Pediatrics)

Location :  Rochester, NY 14621

Shift :  Day 5x8-Hour (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Duration : 13 weeks

Guarantee Hours : 40 hours per week

Job Description:

The Medical Assistant (MA) will work primarily in a Pediatrics setting within a Family Medicine practice. The MA will support physicians by performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in rooming patients, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for examination.
• Conduct routine procedures such as immunizations and health screenings.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver effective patient care.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively.

Licensure Requirement for the Medical Assistant Position:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Basic Life Support

Required Skills and Traits:

• Experience in pediatrics and ambulatory care settings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Flexibility and willingness to work with others as part of a team.
