IT Project Manager - REMOTE - Mostly East Coast hours

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee and manage technology projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while also aligning with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage external vendors and contract resources.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including IT staff, vendors, and business units.
• Conduct business analysis to gather and document requirements for technology applications and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project progress and performance, and report on status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years as a Project Manager in the IT sector including system and application deployment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, Jira and Smartsheets.
• Experience in managing technology projects, including infrastructure and application development.
• Demonstrated ability to develop project plans and manage budgets.
• 2+ years of business analysis skills and experience in gathering and documenting requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
• Familiarity with IT frameworks and technologies is a plus.
• PMP certification is preferred.

We offer a base salary of $115K to $125K depending on experience, plus a 15% bonus.

This is a REMOTE position working mostly East Coast hours.
