Golden Age Hospitality, the team behind Le Dive, The Nines, ACME, Happiest Hour ,Deux Chats, and recently opened Elvis, is seeking a Senior Designer with 3-8 years of professional experience to join a team managing multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in understanding creative vision, self-motivated, with the ability to balance technical expertise and creative leadership across various projects.

The role requires high level creativity and strong problem solving. The candidate will be involved in all phases of creative, design and construction, from the broadest vision to the smallest detail, ensuring that all schedule and deliverable commitments are met in collaboration with key positions & Chief Executive Jon Neidich

As Senior Designer, you will work alongside the CEO and Creative Director and contribute to the production, coordination, and management of projects from design concept through construction administration. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong abilities in the following areas:

Conceptualization & Design Development:

• Participate in the development of design concepts and presentation materials.
• Propose design solutions and carry these through all design phases.
• Schematic design presentations and architectural drawings sets.
• Prepare & deliver presentations, including 2D renderings, mood boards, material samples, & oversight of 3D renderings.
• Contribute to the studio in a way that pushes us to constantly elevate and expand our work.
• Comfortable presenting ideas—both internally and externally.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and products, and incorporate them into design concepts.

Project Management & Coordination: You will contribute to the production, coordination and management of projects from design concept through construction administration—applicants should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and demonstrate a strong ability in the following:

• Effectively manage and work on multiple (4-6) projects simultaneously, collaborating efficiently with various project teams.
• Lead teams through all phases of projects: programming, conceptual design, design development, purchasing and production, project management, and installation.
• Clear communication and distribution of information within the team(s), with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure design intent is achieved.
• Project day-to-day coordination with consultants and third-party consultants/vendors. Work with vendors and artists to keep projects running smoothly and on time.
• Source FF&E, artwork, and design custom pieces.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of Project Schedules and different documents:
• Maintain project directories; Produce Sheets Index/Drawing Logs.
• Logging and filing incoming RFIs, submittals, and other external correspondence to track progress to completion/resolution.
• Construction Documentation level drawing work, including highly articulate design detailing. Proficiency with traditional architectural vocabulary and the fundamentals of building construction and assembly.
• Strong in vendor management and coordination with extensive outside players—including MEP and structural engineers, lighting designers, landscape designers, etc.
• Proficiency with building systems and the fundamentals of building construction and assembly.
• Research materiality and build Architectural Schedules & Specifications.
• Prepare and deliver project budgets and schedules.
• Present design concepts, budgets, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.\

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 to 8 years of professional architectural experience
• Experience in Construction, Drawing details & Interest in traditional design preferred
• Knowledge of construction methods
• Fluency in AutoCAD is a plus
• Ability to produce technical documentation is is a plus
• Strong graphics and visual presentation skills.
• 3D modeling and rendering experience (Rhino, Revit) is a plus
• Dexterity with hand drawing: rendering capabilities is a plus
