Job Description
TT Furniture are seeking an experienced and ambitious Interior Designer Sales with a strong track record and a genuine passion for selling furniture items (living room sets, dining sets, etc) to our customers in our luxurious retail store in one of the top malls in Tampa, Florida.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales by targeting new prospects and cultivating existing customer relationships to achieve high renewal rates and customer satisfaction. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to acquire new customers, drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling, ensure customer retention, and by creating, presenting, and selling product and design solutions. You have to be able to assist customers in house measurements (in some cases), home ideas suggestions, fabric colors selection, dimensions and style assistance.
Your expertise in selling furniture items and your ability to build strong relationships with our customers will be instrumental in achieving our sales targets. Compensation:
This is a commission position with expected earnings of $70-110K annually. You will receive a basic salary plus commissions (3% on each order's total). With our generous commission-based compensation plan, your income is limited only by the amount of effort you apply with customers in the showroom.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers.
- Assisting customers in sales by designing their space with our unique home furniture signature products
by presenting AutoCad drawings.
- Identifying and establishing potential customers.
- Organizing sales visits at the showroom.
- Showroom sales through home ideas suggestions, fabric colors selection, dimensions and style assistance.
- Preparing proposals and quotations through the software system.
- Following up with the customers till the delivery.
- Preparing reports for the store manager.
- Meeting regular sales targets.
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
- Recording and maintaining customers contact data.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Engineering or Interior Design Bachelor's Degree.
- Willingness to work weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to drive to customers' residences and businesses for design consultations (in some cases).
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Ability to creatively explain and present home concepts in an easy to understand manner.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software systems.
- Ability to listen and translate clients' wants into design choices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills.
- Proven work experience as an Interior Designer Sales.
- AutoCad & 3D max experience.
- Engineering or Interior Design Bachelor's Degree.
