Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Education Resource Specialist specializing in Abdominal (Kidney) Transplants. This position is ideal for an experienced RN who thrives on guiding and educating teams while ensuring exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and evaluate educational programs for kidney transplant teams patients and caregivers.
• Serve as a resource for clinical staff providing expertise in kidney transplant procedures and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies Epic OPTN and CMS guidelines .
• Support the onboarding and ongoing development of transplant coordinators and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline processes.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

MustHave Qualifications

• Active RN Texas License or multistate compact RN license free of stipulations or disciplinary actions.
• Masters Degree (Education preferred).
• BLS Certification .
• Minimum 5 years of acute care nursing experience with at least 3 years as a Kidney Transplant Coordinator .
• Proven 1 years of supervisory experience .
• Strong track record of consistent employment with detailed job history and accurate dates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Transplant Coordinator (a plus).
• Familiarity with Epic OPTN and CMS guidelines .
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• A passion for kidney transplant education and a commitment to patientcentered care.
