Job Description

The Security Dispatcher plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel by effectively coordinating communication between security personnel, emergency responders, and management.

 
Must possess the ability to multitask incoming calls, email correspondence along with other miscellaneous items.
Receive and process calls relaying to appropriate personnel and clients. Dispatch personnel on requested tasks utilizing Tracktik Guard Tour Reporting System. 
Monitor all associated security systems.
Maintain communication: maintain constant communication with Security personnel on patrol, providing updates, guidance, and support as needed.
Use telephone, or other communication devices effectively and efficiently.
Assist Operations with after-hours staffing due to call off's utilizing Winteam and other scheduling processes.

Days & Hours: Thursday - Sunday / 5 pm-1:30 am

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of call center or dispatch operator experience
• Proficient computer skills and software knowledge
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Maintain communication, video, and computer equipment
• Coordinate information for pass-downs with Operations
• Answer calls promptly and dispatch appropriately
• Monitor alarm signals and deploy personnel as needed
• Ensure all shifts are fully manned
• Utilize effective communication skills in a collaborative environment
