INRIX is looking for a passionate and talented Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, automating, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, with a particular focus on AWS services. You will also work closely with development and operations teams to streamline and automate processes, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of our applications.

As a critical part of our technology team, you will help us optimize our cloud-based environments and ensure smooth, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) across multiple projects. If you have a strong background in software development and extensive experience in DevOps within AWS, we’d love to hear from you!This position is based in Kirkland, WA, and follows a hybrid work model with four days in the office and Fridays as work-from-home (WFH).

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Architect, design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments using AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Athena, Glue, and ECR.
• DevOps Automation: Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and other relevant tools to support continuous integration and deployment.
• Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage infrastructure through code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, ensuring efficient and reliable infrastructure provisioning.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance using AWS CloudWatch and other tools, optimize cloud environments for efficiency, cost, and performance.
• Security Management: Manage IAM policies and roles, ensuring the highest level of security for AWS resources.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to integrate solutions and drive operational excellence across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Scripting and Automation: Write scripts in Python, Shell, and SQL to automate infrastructure tasks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a professional software developer or DevOps engineer.
• Proven experience deploying solutions/applications in the AWS cloud environment.
• Strong scripting skills with proficiency in Python, Shell, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Athena, Glue, ECR).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch.
• Experience with IAM policies and role management in AWS.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

The compensation range for this role is $150,000-$180,000, including base salary and bonus. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. INRIX reserves the right to modify the pay range at any time.
